Style / Olympic Village
We shot this look at the former Olympic Village in Munich, which was built for the 1972 Summer Olympics. It has a very dystopian, futuristic feel to it, kind of built as an autonomous city inside a city. Heinle, Wischer und Partner, who designed the complex, envisioned it to be used after the Olympics as a residential area. All roads are essentially underground and the flats built on top, so that they are connected only by footpath. It's really a little crazy when you go there for the first time.
